The ASB (Associated Student Body) council works to create an open, inviting, spirited environment and a fun and memorable experience for the entire Tam student body. 

What does the ASB do?

  During the 2005-06 school year, the ASB helped accomplish the following:

* Raised $2360 in hurricane relief for the American Red Cross through student, parent, and staff donations (BSU, Peer Resource, ASB Council Outreach)
* Presented the Back-To-School Rally (ASB Council Rally)
* Welcomed new teachers to the staff with appreciation gifts (ASB Council Staff Relations)
* Sponsored the biggest ever Game of the Month at the Tam-MC Varsity Boys Soccer game (ASB Council Sports)
* Sponsored a 66 student blood drive in the fall (our biggest to date) in response to increased need due to the hurricanes (ASB Council Outreach)
* Organized Homecoming 2005 (ASB Council) "Rescue Me" Spirit Week, including the rally, royalty nominations and elections, hall decoration class competition, Homecoming parade, and Homecoming dance
* Renewed the charters of 9 student clubs and approved 31 new clubs
* Distributed over $5,000 worth of Tam Spirit Wear clothing
