Mr. Lapp is on the international advisory board of the British Journal of Physics Education
Mr. Lapp graduated from Sonoma State's Department of Physics and Astronomy in 1984 www.phys-astro.sonoma.edu
During the academic year of 2002-2003 Mr. Lapp received an academic fellowship from the Wright Center for science education. During this fellowship, Mr. Lapp wrote the book The Physics of Musical Instruments. www.tufts.edu/as/wright_center/

Every year Mr. Lapp's physics students do a project where they enter this contest.
