Literacy Support Resources

The ninth grade English and social studies teachers (Ninth Grade Core) have identified literacy needs and literary improvement strategies for all ninth grade students, addressing the prerequisite skills and performance outcomes needed to succeed on the Direct Writing Assessment and the tenth grade Core Literacy Portfolio. Our goal is to design and implement support services and lessons to ensure success in reading and writing in English and Social Studies in the sophomore year and beyond.
Weekly Academic Writing Handbook
